Background
I first explored level design while studying game graphics, and it opened my eyes to how vast and collaborative the field is. I was drawn to how it transforms ideas into gameplay—like solving a puzzle where you’re also making the pieces.
After high school, I worked in different industries while figuring out my path, but level design never left my mind. Knowing about The Game Assembly for years, I set my sights on joining.
There, I learned what game development truly entails—working in teams, communicating ideas, and iterating on designs. My background in 3D modeling, sculpting, character design, and animation helped me see how different disciplines shape the player experience. Understanding these perspectives has made me a better designer, allowing me to create levels that enhance and elevate the work of others.
Game design has fueled my passion for bringing ideas to life. I strive to keep learning, refining my craft, and contributing to games that embody a shared vision. I believe great design comes from collaboration, iteration… and just the right amount of staring at a problem until it starts making sense.
Thanks for your time—I look forward to connecting!
